When I came to Tara Homes, I had just finished the BOTS program and didn’t know what to do next. I felt lost and nervous. From day one, I was welcomed with open arms. This place is full of love and peace — it felt like home right away.

The environment is calm, caring, and stress-free. The women here are like my sisters. We support each other every day. There’s no 'I' in 'we' — we’re in this together.

Living here has helped me stay focused on my recovery and think about what I want for my future. The location made it easy to get to meetings, do volunteer work, and look for jobs — and now I have one!
