Recovery is Possible: Tara Homes Turns 2! 💙

Two years ago, Tara Homes Foundation was born from a vision — to create a safe, stable, and empowering space where individuals in recovery could rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Today, we are proud to say: that vision is thriving.

Our East Hartford home is now full of life, with three incredible women already on their journey, and a fourth getting ready to move in.

They are doing the hard work:

 ✨ Maintaining sobriety

✨ Prioritizing mental and physical healing

✨ Entering or actively preparing for employment — one step at a time

These aren’t just personal wins — they are transformational milestones.

Behind each of these women is a village of support — and we’re endlessly grateful. Our growth and impact wouldn’t be possible without the backing of:

💙 Mission-driven Treatment Centers referring women ready to reclaim their lives

💙 Philanthropic partners and volunteers who believed in our mission early on

💙 WBDC and SCORE, who guided our foundation’s strategic growth

💙 And generous community allies like:

 • American Job Center

 • CT Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR)

 • Community Renewal Team (CRT)

 • Community Partners in Action

 • Greystone Foundation

 • Become Part of the Solution

 • Kate’s House Foundation

 • Evergreen Family Oriented Tree

 • TomCat’s Place

As we celebrate this two-year milestone, we remain committed to expanding these partnerships and scaling our circle of support — to help even more women who are making the courageous decision to transform their lives.

Stay tuned for our upcoming “She Recovers” series, where we’ll share real stories of hope, healing, and purpose from the women of Tara Homes.

Together, we recover. Together, we rise. 💫
